Sophomore Patrick Cantlay made his fourth consecutive cut at a PGA Tour
event after posting a 143 (+3) for his first two rounds at the RBC
Canadian Open. Cantlay also made the cut at the AT&T National, the
Travelers Championship and the U.S. Open in recent weeks. Currently Patrick is seven strokes back of the leaders, who are at -4.
Alums Kevin Chappell and Scott McCarron also made the cut at the tournament. McCarron shot a second round 65 (-5) and is one-under par after two rounds, putting him in a tie for 12th place. Like Cantlay, Chappell posted a 143 (+3) for his first two rounds and is seven shots off the lead.
