During the recently-ended NFL lockout, UCLA alum Matt Willis, a wide receiver for the Denver Broncos, participated in G4's American Ninja Warrior. Ninja Warrior is a competition that started off in Japan, where competitors take on one of the toughest obstacle courses in the world - In 10 years, only 3 competitors have completed all 4 stages.
G4 has been broadcasting the original Ninja Warrior for a while, and in recent years has begun sending a collection of Americans to Japan to take on the course for the American Ninja Warrior show. Competitors must first tackle a qualifying course before 10 are selected to go to Japan.
The show premieres this Sunday night at 6 pm PT.
