First round results are completed for five current and future Bruins at the 111th U.S. Women's Amateur at Rhode Island Country Club. Junior Lee Lopez was the top Bruin with an even par 71 and was tied for 15th. Senior Stephanie Kono and incoming freshman Erynne Lee were tied for 28th place after posting scores of 72 (+1). Junior Tiffany Lua was tied for 45th place at two-over par 73 and senior Brianna Do was tied for 125th after posting a 78 (+7). The top 64 players advance to match play following Tuesday's second round.
