YOUTH TRACK & FIELD ACADEMIES
The Youth Track & Field Academies are offered as an opportunity for children of every ability level to get involved in the sport. The academies are appropriate for all ability levels, including those who have never before participated in track and field. Campers will try their hand at multiple running and field events including the high jump, long jump, shot put, javelin and hurdles. Some sessions will also include a beginner's introduction into the pole vault for those interested. The focus is on finding each camper's individual strengths, while having fun out at the track!

HIGH PERFORMANCE TRACK & FIELD CAMPS
The High Performance Track & Field Camps are all inclusive camps offered by the UCLA Track & Field coaching staff. These camps are designed for high school athletes to help increase their ability to execute the proper techniques and mechanincs required to excel in each event. Counselors will work closely with small groups of athletes in each event to provide instruction catered to the ability level of each group. Campers will advance through higher levels of instruction as their track & field knowledge increases. Come learn from the best coaches in the country and work side-by-side with UCLA's current and former athletes. Champions are made here!

ANTHONY CURRAN'S POLE VAULT ACADEMY
Coach Anthony Curran's UCLA Pole Vault Camps are residential camps open to vaulters of all ability levels, including beginners - no experience necessary! Our staff will feature both current and former UCLA vaulters, led by pole vault/jumps coach Anthony Curran. Instruction includes vault drills such as high bar, rings, ropes and scaffold vaults. For most vaulting sessions, the camp will concentrate on drills and exercises from shorter runs using smaller poles. This will make it easier to learn proper technique and result in safer and higher vaulting. The groups will be divided into small groups that fit each athlete's ability. The advanced vaulters will focus on technical training and vault mechanics from longer approaches. The goal is to learn the advanced secrets to becoming a competitive collegiate vaulter. There will also be lectures on strength and conditioning for all levels, as well as video analysis and discussion sessions. Poles are provided, but you are encouraged to bring your own, if possible.

MAURICE GREENE'S ALL-SPORT SPEED, POWER & EXPLOSION CAMP
The All-Sport Speed, Power & Explosion camp is open to athletes from all sports. Former 100m World Record Holder Maurice Greene has designed a program that will teach athletes the proper mechanincs and drills necessary to increase their speed, power and explosion - the essential athletic tools needed for every sport! Join us for 3 hours each day, Monday-Thursday and learn from one of the fastest men in athletic history!

MEN'S & WOMEN'S HURDLE CAMPS
The Men's & Women's Elite Hurdle Camps provide athletes with the chance to improve their speed and technique on the track. These gender-specific camps are appropriate for athletes who are sprinters, hurdlers, or both - or even those new to Track & Field who are interested in pursuing the sport. With Women's Head Coach/Sprints Coach Jeanette Bolden leading the women and Assistant Coach - M/W Sprints & Hurdles Chris Asher and Volunteer Assistant Hurdles Coach Darrell Smith, Jr. leading the men, athletes will be working with some of the premier coaches in the country, and some of the current Bruin sprinters too! Campers will be grouped by age and ability level, with younger and/or less experienced athletes working on fundamentals while the more experienced athletes refine their technique. Evening activities for Resident campers include watching films, hearing from guest speakers, and discussing the demands (both on and off the track) of being a college-athlete. This camp is great for 100m, 200m, 400m, 110H, 440H, etc.

FACILITIES & ACCOMMODATIONS
The camps are conducted primarily at Drake Stadium, home of the UCLA Bruins Track & Field teams. Day camp fees do not include meals; campers should bring a lunch from home, or money to purchase one from the food court in nearby Ackerman Student Union. Overnight campers stay in the UCLA residence halls, and eat meals in the award-winning UCLA residential restaurants. The residential restaurants offer a variety of foods on an all-you-care-to-eat basis, for a well-rounded, balanced diet. Overnight campers are housed in double- and triple-occupancy rooms, and are supervised by coaches and counselors also staying in the residence hall. Roommate preferences will be accommodated whenever possible, but CANNOT be guaranteed. If no roommate is requested, roommates will be assigned according to gender and/or age.
