Gold And Blue Football Season Ticket Packages

These are the best seats we have to offer! In recognition of financial support, annual donors to the Wooden Athletic Fund receive seating priority and are eligible to purchase season seats in the Gold Priority and Blue Priority Areas. Seats are subject to availability and quantity limitations do apply. For the 2008 Football season, UCLA Athletics will be holding Select-A-Seat weekends which will give renewing and new season ticket holders the opportunity to view available locations and choose or change their season location. See below for more info on Select-A-Seat. Please contact the Wooden Athletic Fund Office at 310-206-3302 with any questions regarding Priority Seating.

FOOTBALL GOLD PRIORITY AREA
Director's Circle, Bruin Legends, Coaches Roundtable, Bruin All-American, Bruin Athletic Club Sustaining or Bruin Athletic Club are eligible to purchase Gold Priority Area seats in the premier seating area of the Rose Bowl. The Gold Priority Area is between the 30 yard lines (between rows 8 and 77) and is available on both the East (Sections 4 & 5) and West (Sections 18 & 19) sides of the stadium (subject to availability). If seating in the Gold Priority Area is unavailable, members of the aforementioned support groups will receive the best available seating in the Blue Priority Area.

FOOTBALL BLUE PRIORITY AREA
Members of the above levels and Bruin Bench are eligible to purchase seats in the Blue Priority Area. Seating in the Blue Priority Area is between the 10 and the 30 yard lines (between rows 1 and 77) on both the East (Sections 3 & 6) and the West (Sections 17 & 20) sides of the stadium. The first 7 rows of Sections 4, 5, 18 & 19 are also designated as Blue Priority Areas.

FOOTBALL PRIORITY AREA AVAILABILITY AND SELECT-A-SEAT
In 2007, UCLA Football season tickets sales were the highest ever in the history of UCLA Athletics. Both the Gold and Blue Priority Area sections at the Rose Bowl were near sell-outs. For the 2008 Football season, we expect the ticket renewal rate to be extremely high and to have a very limited supply of priority area locations for improvements and new donor assignments. Due to the limited availability of Gold Priority Area seats in 2007, a large number of Bruin Athletic Club-Sustaining and Bruin Athletic Club members were assigned seats in the Blue Priority Area, despite their eligibility for Gold Priority Area seats.

Beginning this year, the seating improvement and assignment process will be handled through the Select-A-Seat event at the Rose Bowl on the weekends of April 26-27 and May 3-4, 2008. At Select-A-Seat, all available season locations will be tagged with a flyer indicating what donor level is required to purchase that location. Donors will be assigned appointment times according to donor level and number of years of membership at that level. Athletic Director's Circle members will be assigned the earliest appointments, then Bruin Legends members, followed by Coaches Roundtable members, moving on through the donor levels.

In order to receive the appropriate priority and the associated Select-A-Seat appointment time, upgrading or new Wooden Athletic Fund donors must make their membership commitment for the 2008-2009 membership year by March 14, 2008. If this is the first year that a member is purchasing season football tickets, they must also place a season ticket deposit by March 14th. New donors and upgrading members can sign up for membership and season ticket deposits by calling the Wooden Athletic Fund Office at 310-206-3302.

2007-08 DONOR PRIORITY SEATING TRENDS

For all membership levels, the greater the number of season tickets requested, the more difficult it is to place the seats together in locations of great demand (i.e. Press Box side - west, rows 10-65 with better yardage). The Gold Priority area is approximately between the 30 yard lines; the Blue Priority Area is between the 5-30 yard lines. Seating availability in the West Priority Areas (Sections 17-20) is more limited than in the East Priority Areas (Sections 3-6). We anticipate the 2008 football renewal rate to be extremely high, limiting the supply of priority locations for the upcoming season.
