This parklike facility, which offers year-round recreation for UCLA faculty, staff and students, features a 50-meter pool with diving facilities, a 25-yard family pool, picnic/barbecue areas, sand volleyball court and large grass areas for sunning, frisbee and volleyball. In addition, there are 10 lighted regulation tennis courts. Also available are an outdoor amphitheater, various meeting rooms and lounges, adjacent parking and access for people with disabilities.

The Sunset Canyon Recreation Center is also the home of both the UCLA men's and women's water polo teams. It is also the primary facility for the UCLA diving team. An ideal setting for collegiate water polo, Sunset Canyon is located on the northwest side off of DeNeve Drive, just east of the dormitories.

In 1999, the Jim Toring Memorial Scoreboard was added to the facility in tribute to the former two-time All-American who was tragically killed on April 20, 1998 following an accident that occurred in Paris during a trip with the U.S. National Team.

Vehicle parking is $8. There is an attendant at the PRC Lot beginning 1 ½ hours prior to game time until ½ hour after the game begins. At any other time you can "pay by space" (read signs carefully) or visit a Westwood Blvd/Plz Parking Kiosk.

Sunset Recreation Lot:

From 405 South: Exit Sunset Blvd. Turn left onto Church. Turn left onto Sunset Blvd. Proceed east on Sunset Blvd for approximately two miles. Turn right onto Bellagio. Turn left on De Neve Dr. Turn Right into Sunset Canyon Recreation Center. The parking structure is on your right.

From 405 North: Exit Sunset Blvd. Turn right onto Sunset Blvd. Proceed east on Sunset Blvd for approximately two miles. Turn right onto Bellagio. Turn left on De Neve Dr. Turn Right into Sunset Canyon Recreation Center. The parking structure is on your right.
