Josh Rebholz Position: Associate Athletic Director - Development

Josh Rebholz is in his first year as Associate Athletic Director of Development at UCLA, having joined the staff in August of 2011.

Rebholz oversees, under the guidance of Mark Harlan, Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs, all facets of fund development for the athletic department, including capital and major gifts, the John Wooden Athletic Fund, the Bruin Varsity Club, endowments, special events, sports specific fundraising and planned gifts.

Prior to coming to UCLA, Rebholz served as the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Development & Revenue Enhancement at the University of Wyoming. He also served as the Executive Director of the Cowboy Joe Club, the University's general scholarship fund for student-athletes. During his tenure at Wyoming, the Cowboy Joe Club increased its annual cash giving by 52% and overall annual cash support had increased by 185% or more than $2 million. Rebholz also oversaw the completion of the University's $38 million athletic facility capital campaign, the largest in school history, including the solicitation of a $2 million leadership gift.

Also while at Wyoming, Rebholz oversaw the sales, planning and implementation of new premium seating opportunities, including the Wildcatter Stadium Club and Suites at War Memorial Stadium, where the University enjoyed an additional $800,000 in increased revenues. In his final two years at Wyoming, Rebholz's oversight involved all revenue enhancements at the University of Wyoming, including ticket sales. Rebholz was responsible for the highest football ticket revenue in University history in 2011 at more than $2.6 million.

Prior to joining Wyoming, Rebholz was a member of the athletic development staff at the University of Missouri, where he worked under the direction of Director of Athletics Mike Alden. While at Missouri, he was personally responsible for bringing in $760,000 in new gifts to Mizzou Athletics and he secured 15 major gift commitments of $25,000 or more to the Champions for Life $150 million campaign within just one year. Rebholz was directly responsible for planning, developing and implementing strategies and programs to maintain and increase annual and capital giving in southern and mid-Missouri.

Rebholz began his intercollegiate athletics career serving as the Director of Donor Relations and Ticketing at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. At Portland State, Rebholz oversaw all annual and capital giving as well as managing the priority scholarship seating program, group ticket sales, luxury suite sales and season ticket accounts for football and men's basketball. He oversaw a 33% increase in annual fund membership within three years.

In 2011, Rebholz was elected to serve on the Executive Committee for the National Association of Athletic Development Directors (NAADD). NAADD is an organization which provides educational and networking opportunities, enhancement of acceptable operating standards and ethics, and establishment of the overall prestige and understanding of the profession of athletics development and fund raising.

A former member of the Weber State football team and a native of Scottsdale, AZ, Rebholz earned a bachelor's degree in integrated studies from Weber State University in Ogden, UT. Rebholz's Uncle, R.C. Johnson, is the Director of Athletics at the University of Memphis.
