David Secor enters into his 10th year as the Chief Financial Officer for Athletics overseeing the business and financial operations for the department and is in his 26th year with the University.

His duties include management of the department's $58 million budget and direct responsibility for the financial areas of Accounting, Purchasing, and Payroll. He also directs the Human Resources unit that includes almost 200 full-time coaches and staff and manages the Information Technology unit which supports the department network and more than 200 users. He serves as the principal advisor to the Athletic Director with respect to long term programming and planning including assessing the resources available for the development of major capital projects such as the Spieker Aquatic Center and the renovation of Pauley Pavilion. He represents the campus on all fiduciary matters and is a member of CABMA.

Prior to his appointment as Associate Athletic Director, Secor served for two years as the Budget Officer for UCLA Administration where he managed the budgetary resources, totaling approximately $400 million, for the Administrative Vice Chancellor. He served as the Fiscal Officer for Athletics, from 1990 to 1996. Prior to working in Athletics he worked for Associated Students UCLA from 1982 to 1990 in several positions including Computer Support Manager, Computer Programmer, and Purchasing Manager.

Secor received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from UCLA in 1985 and was a Regents and California State Scholar. Secor, a native of Los Angeles, resides with his partner, Brandon Leger, in Sherman Oaks.
