Join past, present, and future Bruins for a fun-filled evening celebrating UCLA Athletics.

Keynote Program: 50 Years of Bruin Basketball

True Blue Celebration's evening entertainment will be a UCLA Basketball Panel featuring a Bruin player representing each decade, starting with the 1960's. The panel will be hosted by Lynn Shackelford, a three-year starting forward on Coach Wooden's 1967-69 NCAA Championship teams. Confirmed panel members include: Marques Johnson (a sophomore starting forward on Coach Wooden's final NCAA Championship team in 1975 and the winner of the first Wooden Award in 1977 as the nation's top player), Ralph Jackson (a three-year starting guard from 1982-84 who played for head coaches Larry Brown and Larry Farmer), Toby Bailey (UCLA's 5th leading scorer and a starter on the 1995 NCAA Championship team), and Jason Kapono (a four-year starting guard-forward from 2000-03 who still ranks as the 3rd leading scorer in UCLA history with 2,095). Completing the panel will be current Bruin head coach Ben Howland, who in his six seasons has directed UCLA to three consecutive NCAA Final Fours and Pac-10 regular season championships.

Admission is $100 per person. All proceeds directly benefit UCLA Athletics.
