HONOLULU, H.I.-Hawai'i stormed out to a 5-0 lead after three innings. Staff ace Rob Henkel settled down and struck out seven in five innings. UCLA could muster just six hits, but the Bruins did bring the tying run to the plate in the ninth inning. Eric Byrnes lined out to short to end the game. Garrett Atkins led the way for UCLA by going 2-2 with a pair of doubles and two walks. Bobby Roe pitched a scorless inning out of the bullpen.
