LOS ANGELES - Construction crews at Jackie Robinson Stadium began a three-day effort to install natural grass sod Monday morning. The placement of sod on the field comes nearly two months after the UCLA athletics department began renovating the field surface at the stadium.

The field at Jackie Robinson Stadium is scheduled to be ready for play by Saturday, Feb. 2, when the UCLA baseball program hosts its annual Alumni Game. To view photos of Monday's work at Jackie Robinson Stadium, click the above photo gallery link.
