David Brown earned four varsity letters in basketball for the Monarchs at Mater Dei High School (Santa Ana, Calif.) under Coach Gary McKnight ... served as a team captain his junior and senior seasons (2010-11) while earning first-team All-Trinity League honors in 2011 and second-team plaudits in 2010 ...
