Ben Howland held his weekly press conference to discuss the Bruin basketball team and the upcoming games against Stanford and California.

A special guest at the conference was UCLA alum Corey Pavin. The 1982 NCAA Golfer of the Year and individual champion, Pavin will serve as the captain for the U.S. Ryder Cup Team this year. He is in town for the Northern Trust Open.

Coach Howland presented Pavin with a UCLA basketball jersey with Pavin's name on the back. Pavin presented Coach Howland with an official Ryder Cup Team golf club bag.
