UCLA Basketball's Tyler Lamb Undergoes Successful Knee Surgery

LOS ANGELES - UCLA junior guard Tyler Lamb underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his left knee Tuesday afternoon. He is expected to miss four to six weeks.
Lamb played in all 33 games last season (32 starts), averaging 9.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. He was sidelined one month after undergoing a similar procedure on the same knee on July 2, 2010.
Lamb, a 6-foot-5 guard from Santa Ana, Calif., averaged 10.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists in three games during UCLA's weeklong goodwill tour in China from Aug. 23-29, 2012.
The Bruins open their season in New Pauley Pavilion against Indiana State on Friday, Nov. 9. Game time against the Sycamores is slated for 8 p.m.
