BRUIN INJURY UPDATE
The Bruins have three players that have been sideline this season due to injury and all three will not play in Monday (Nov. 19) night's contest against Maryland. All-American point guard Darren Collison has a sprained left knee (MCL); junior guard Michael Roll has a ruptured plantar fascia in his left foot while sophomore forward James Keefe is rehabilitating from surgery on Aug. 10 to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder. The Bruins will only dress eight scholarship players for the Maryland game.

NATIONAL POLLS
UCLA sports a national ranking of No. 1 (tied with North Carolina) in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll and a No. 2 ranking in the Associated Press poll.

SERIES VS. MICHIGAN STATE
This is the seventh meeting between UCLA and Michigan State with the Bruins leading the series 4-2. The Spartans won the last meeting, 76-64 in East Lansing (12/21/04). Paul Davis led No. 23 MSU with 18 points while freshman Josh Shipp scored 18 points for UCLA. The Bruins also faced MSU in Ben Howland's first year, winning 64-58 in Pauley Pavilion, the day the floor was dedicated to John Wooden and his late wife Nell (12/20/03).

LOVE GRABS REBOUNDING MARK
Kevin Love's 16 rebounds against Maryland were the most ever by a UCLA freshman. The old record of 15 was held by Jelani McCoy (at Washington State on 1/4/96) and JaRon Rush (vs. Washington on 2/27/99).
