UCLA vs. CAL STATE FULLERTON
UCLA leads the all-time series, which began in the 1986-87 season, 8-0 (all games in Pauley Pavilion). The two teams haven't faced each other since the 1997-98 season (UCLA won that contest 120-91). The Bruins are 58-5 (.921) all-time against the Big West Conference while the Titans are 3-19 (.136) all-time against the Pacific-10 Conference.

NATIONAL POLLS
UCLA was preseason rated No. 5 (tied with Pittsburgh) in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll and No. 6 in the Associated Press poll, marking the second straight season that the Bruins were ranked in the preseason polls. The Bruins are currently ranked first in both the Associated Press poll and the ESPN/USA Today poll.

UCLA AND THE NUMBER ONE RANKING
For the first time in 12 years, UCLA, the nation's top-ranked number one team, is back at the top of the AP poll. The last time that UCLA was ranked number one was in the final poll of the 1995 season, the year the Bruins won their 11th national championship.

This is the 130th week that UCLA has been ranked first in the AP poll (20 weeks longer than second-place Duke, 110 weeks at number one).

Here's a look at UCLA and the number one ranking:
