SERIES VS. MONTANA
This is just the fifth meeting between the Montana Grizzlies and UCLA with the Bruins leading the series 4-0. UCLA won the last meeting with Montana, 78-47, in Pauley Pavilion in the first round of the NIT on March 13, 1985. Reggie Miller led a quartet of Bruins in double figures with 21 points. Nigel Miguel added 14 points while Brad Wright and Montel Hatcher tallied 12 and 10 points, respectively. The Griz were led by Larry Krystkowiak's 14 points and were coached by current California Head Coach Mike Montgomery. UCLA Head Coach Ben Howland is 6-4 all-time against Montana and used to face the Griz regularly when he was the head coach at Northern Arizona, also of the Big Sky Conference.
BRUINS' INJURY REPORT
Freshman guard Matt Carlino (concussion) has been medically cleared to play in the Bruins' last three contests but has not played due to coaches decision.
