NATIONAL POLLS
UCLA sports a national ranking of No. 5 in both the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll and Associated Press poll.

SERIES VS. UC DAVIS
This is the second meeting between UCLA and UC Davis with the Bruins winning the only other meeting, 34-32, in Los Angeles in Wilbur Johns' first season (1939-40) as UCLA's head coach.

RECORD IN DECEMBER
UCLA is 22-8 (.733) in the month of December under Ben Howland (fifth season), including an 18-2 (.900) mark in the last three years.

WHAT'S WITH THE "C"?
Several Bruin teams will be wearing special jerseys or patches in 2007-08 to commemorate UCLA being the First to 100 NCAA Championships. The men's basketball team will don the new jerseys that have a different-colored "C" in UCLA. The "C" signifies the Roman numeral for 100.
