At Oregon State, he booted a 42-yard field goal with 1:22 remaining in the first half to give UCLA a 10-0 lead and converted all five PATs
Against Oregon, he made field goals of 20 and 37 yards, his first attempts since Sept. 29 at Oregon State
On the final play of the game, he attempted what would have been a career-best 50-yard field goal to win the game, but his kick was just short and wide right
Against ASU, he added a 28-yard field goal.
2000 Griffith enjoyed a very successful sophomore season, earning second-team All-Pac-10 honors
He ranked second on the squad with 77 points, making 11 of 14 field goals and 44 of 46 PATs
His 77 points were one shy of DeShaun Fosters team-high 78 points
During the regular season, he ranked eighth in the Pac-10 in field goals (0.82) and tied for sixth in scoring (6.3)
His percentage of .750 ranked second (tied) in the league
Made two field goals against both Stanford and Wisconsin
Made 46-yard kicks, two yards shy of his career long, versus Oregon and Arizona State.
1999 In his first season as the Bruins field goal kicker, Griffith converted 13 of 18 field goal attempts and all 25 of his PATs
Led the team in scoring with 64 points and ranked sixth in the Pac-10 with his average of 6.4 points per game
Also ranked first in the Pac-10 with his average of 1.3 field goals
He made the biggest kick of his career against Washington, making a 22-yarder in overtime to give the Bruins a 23-20 victory
On the afternoon, he made three of four field goals (35, 28 and 22 yards) and added two PATs

As a senior punter, he averaged 44.3 yards
Also kicked off 98 times during his junior and senior seasons and put 73 in the end zone
As a quarterback, he compiled a record of 22-6 as a starter, passing for 847 yards as a junior and 1,557 yards and 13 touchdowns as a senior

As a senior in 1997, he was selected first-team All-State as a kicker and honorable mention All-State as a quarterback
