UCLA Mike is a very talented player who will play a major role in the offense this season
One of the top tight ends on the West Coast, he was outstanding during Spring Practice, improving in every area
His athleticism, size and skill enable him to excel at the position
He catches the ball well and is a fine blocker
He is able to get open over the middle and also get down the field
He plays with a lot of energy
He is also a three-year starter on special teams.

He played at least 25 snaps eight times, including 32 at Arizona, 31 versus Stanford, 30 against Oregon State and 27 against Alabama, California and Washington
On the year, he made six receptions for 80 yards (13.3 average) and one touchdown
Against Stanford, he made a 22-yard touchdown reception, the first score of his career
He made two catches for 33 yards versus Wisconsin in the Sun Bowl
He was also a regular on several special teams, including the kickoff return, punt coverage and field goal units.
1999 Seidman earned significant playing time as a true freshman
Appeared in 10 of 11 games, missing only against Oregon State
Played at least 10 offensive snaps six times, including 23 versus Washington and 22 against both Arizona and Boise State
