Sept. 2, 2008

Junior quarterback Kevin Craft (Valley Center, CA/Valley Center HS) of the UCLA football team was selected as the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for Aug. 25-Sept. 1.

In his first game as a Bruin, Craft led fourth-quarter touchdown drives of 80-and 70 yards to lead UCLA to a 27-24 upset victory in overtime over No. 18 Tennessee at the Rose Bowl on Monday night. On the night, Craft completed 25 of 43 passes for 259 yards and one touchdown. The three-yard scoring pass to Ryan Moya gave UCLA a 24-21 lead with 27 seconds remaining in regulation.
