Coach Mora addresses media after Thursday's practice

The 17/16th-ranked Bruins (8-2, 5-2) continued their work for Saturday's Pac-12 Conference game (12:05 p.m. on FOX; and radio broadcast in the Los Angeles area by the Bruin IMG Network on am570) against USC this morning on Spaulding Field.

Bruin Notes ---- UCLA's game time for the Stanford contest on Nov. 24 in the Rose Bowl will be either Noon, on Pac-12 Networks, or 3:30 p.m., on FOX. The decision will be announced after the results of this Saturday's games are in.

The Bruins have three semifinalists for national awards - Punter Jeff Locke - Ray Guy Award; TE Joseph Fauria - John Mackey Award; RB Johnathan Franklin - Doak Walker Award. Finalists for the awards will be announced next week.

UCLA is ranked tied for fourth in the nation in sacks (3.7/g). Senior cornerback Sheldon Price ranks tied for 10th in the nation in interceptions (0.44/g).

Two home contests against a pair of nationally-ranked teams in the Rose Bowl remain for the Bruins, including Saturday's match-up against No. 21 USC (Noon) and Nov. 24 versus No. 14 Stanford (start time determined by Nov. 18 and will be either Noon or 3:30 p.m.).
