UCLA Wins U.S. Intercollegiate

STANFORD, Calif.--UCLA captured the team title with a 54-hole total 877 at the U.S. Intercollegiate played at the Stanford Golf Course (par 71, 6786 yards) on the campus of Stanford University. Herbert Forster of Pacific and Rich Barcelo of Nevada tied for first place individually at 214. Ben Crane of Oregon finished third at 215.

Washington finished in second place at 881 while Pacific and Southern California tied for third at 886. Oregon finished in fifth place at 890.
