Patrick Cantlay and Kevin Chappell finished their inaugural appearances in the 76th Masters Tournament Sunday in Augusta, GA.

Cantlay, the first UCLA amateur to make the 36 hole cut, tied for 47th at seven-over par 295, while Chappell, who made the cut in his first appearance as a professional, tied for 44th at 294 (+6) after posting a 76 (+4) in the final round.

Cantlay's round had to be considered one of the wildest of the day. He was sailing along at two-under par through 12 holes before he recorded a quadruple bogey nine at the par 5 13th. He then double-bogeyed the 14th to move to four-over par on the day. He eagled the par 5 15th, and birdied the 16th and 17th holes to return to even par on the day. After a par at the 18th, he signed for a 72 (E).

He finished as the low amateur for the tournament -- the best result ever by a UCLA amateur golfer.
