UCLA's Patrick Cantlay and Kevin Chappell completed their competition Sunday at the 112th U. S. Open at San Francisco's Olympic Club.

Both players posted scores of 72 (+2) in the final round as the Olympic Club played the easiest it had in the four rounds of competition at 72.9 strokes.

Chappell tied for 10th place at 285 (+5) and earned his second straight exemption into the U.S. Open by finishing among the Top 10 players. He will play in the 2013 Open at Merion. His card showed one birdie at the par 4 14th and three bogeys.

Cantlay tied for 41st at 291 (+11). In his final round, he recorded an eagle two at the seventh hole, three birdies and seven bogeys.
