UCLA senior Pontus Widegren won his second collegiate tournament Tuesday and led a group of four Bruins who placed among the Top 10 at the CSU San Marcos Fall Classic at Twin Oaks Golf Course.

Widegren fired three rounds in the 60s, including a final round 68 (-4) to finish at 198 (-18). That mark tied a school record for lowest 54-hole total and lowest score in relation to par.

"I played really well yesterday for the first 36," said Widegren, who had 16 birdies and a double bogey in the first two rounds. "All in all, I'm very pleased to win again."

Widegren won by four shots over teammate Lorens Chan, who posted a 66 (-6) on Tuesday to finish at 14-under par 202. Sophomore Jay Hwang captured third place at 203 (-13) after firing a 67 (-5) in the third round. Finally, sophomore Preston Valder tied for sixth place at 212 (-4) following a round of 69 (-3).
