UCLA seniors Kyle Nakazawa and Brian Perk have been nominated for the Soccer News Net 2009 Player of the Year award, and fan votes can help get one of them the honor.

Nakazawa was named to the Top Drawer Soccer National Team of the Season first team and was a first-team All-Pac-10 honoree. With career-bests of 12 goals and 30 points, he ranks amongst the national leaders (ninth in goals per game and 12th in points per game) and has provided the bulk of the scoring for UCLA this season, recording a goal or assist on 62% of the Bruin goals.

Perk also earned first-team honors on the Top Drawer Soccer National Team of the Season and on the All-Pac-10 squad. He leads the Pac-10 in goals against average (0.77) and save percentage (.828). Perk tied the Pac-10 record earlier in the year with four career Pac-10 Player of the Week honors.
