Louisville, KY -- The drought ended for the No. 2 ranked Bruins, as UCLA defeated No. 9 Florida 4-3 in today's consolation bracket action at the USTA/ITA National Indoor Team Championships.

The decisive match took place at No. 1 singles, where UCLA's Jean-Noel Grinda defeated Justin O'Neil 7-6(4), 4-6, 6-1. The Bruins also claimed wins at Nos. 3 and 6 singles and earned the doubles point. UCLA returns to action at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, Mar. 1 hosting No. 51 Fresno State at the Los Angeles Tennis Center.
