Men's Tennis Downs Hawai'i, 6-1

LOS ANGELES - The No. 8 UCLA men's tennis team picked up its 10th victory of the season on Friday, downing Hawai'i, 6-1 at the Los Angeles Tennis Center.
UCLA (10-3) won the doubles point for the eighth time this season on Friday. The Bruins cruised to wins at all three positions, clinching the point when Warren Hardie and Daniel Kosakowski downed Danilo Casanova and Daniel Llarenas, 8-4 at court No. 3.
After securing the doubles point, the Bruins then registered five of six wins in singles play. UCLA dominated play on the bottom three courts, as Holden Seguso, Maxime Tabatruong and Alex Brigham all won in straight sets. Another straight-set winner on the day was Kosakowski at court No. 1, as he downed Dennis Lajola, 6-2, 6-3. Freshman Adrien Puget also won, taking down Jeremy Tweedt in a 10-point tiebreaker at court No. 3.
Hawai'i (2-8) registered its lone win of the day at court No. 2, where Leo Rosenberg upset 99th-ranked Clay Thompson, 3-6, 6-3, 6-3.
Next up for UCLA is a home match against Loyola Marymount on March 22 at 1:30 p.m.
