No. 5 Bruins Down Huskies, 5-2 in Seattle

SEATTLE - The No. 5 UCLA men's tennis team made it a clean sweep of Pac-12 opponents in the Pacific Northwest this weekend, registering a 5-2 victory over No. 22 Washington at the Nordstrom Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Bruins, who downed Oregon, 7-0 on Friday, improve to 16-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play. Washington, which also lost to top-ranked USC on Friday, sees its record fall to 12-5 and 0-2 in the Pac-12.
Doubles play was all UCLA, as the Bruins notched wins at all three courts to secure the point. Warren Hardie and Clay Thompson posted the clinching victory at court No. 3, downing Marton Bots and Matt Stith, 8-6.
Sophomore Adrien Puget was the first to finish his singles match, giving UCLA a 2-0 lead with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Viktor Farkas at court No. 5. The win extends Puget's winning streak to 14, as he is now 14-1 in dual matches.
Washington picked up two wins in singles, however the match had already been decided by that point.
UCLA continues Pac-12 play next week at Arizona on Friday, April 6.
