UCLA Tennis Players Achieve All-America Status

LOS ANGELES - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association released its 2010 All-America Teams on Monday and five UCLA tennis players were among those recognized. Bruin men's tennis players Nick Meister and Amit Inbar were named All-Americans in doubles. The duo earned the distinction for ending the season ranked No. 10 nationally in the final ITA Rankings. On the women's side, Yasmin Schnack, Andrea Remynse and Noelle Hickey all achieved All-America status. Schnack was the only Bruin player to be named an All-American in both singles and doubles. She ended the season ranked No. 7 in singles and No. 5 in doubles with Remynse. Schnack finishes her UCLA career as a three-time All-American. Hickey earned All-America honors for reaching the round of 16 in singles at the NCAA Championships. Below is the criteria used to determine All-America status.
