LOS ANGELES - With the fall season set to begin in the next few weeks, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) recently released its 2011-12 Preseason Rankings and selections for the upcoming ITA All-American Championships.

On the men's side, UCLA has three players ranked in singles to start the year led by Clay Thompson at No. 35. He is followed by No. 40 Adrien Puget and No. 120 Maxime Tabatruong. Alex Brigham and Puget also check in at No. 8 nationally in doubles. Incoming freshman Marcos Giron is ranked No. 4 in the Newcomer/Freshman Rankings.

Selections for the ITA All-American Championships are as follows:

Singles
Clay Thompson (Main Draw)
Adrien Puget (Main Draw)
Alex Brigham (Qualifying)
Marcos Giron (Qualifying)

Doubles
Brigham/Puget (Main Draw)
Giron/Thompson (Alternate)

Four Bruin women are ranked in singles led by McCall Jones at No. 33. She is followed by No. 45 Pamela Montez, No. 51 Courtney Dolehide and No. 102. Carling Seguso. In doubles, UCLA's three ranked teams are: Dolehide Montez (#21), Robin Anderson/Jones (#31) and Jones/Montez (#44). Anderson is also ranked as the No. 2 Freshman/Newcomer in the country.
