Meet information and the meet schedule for the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational are now online. The meet, which is held April 12-14 at Drake Stadium, is in its fifth year of existence and will feature some of the top track and field programs in the country. It will also feature several of track and field's best post-collegiate athletes.

This year's Invite will feature a heptathlon/decathlon competition on Thursday and Friday. The hammer throw will be contested on Thursday, while open sections of the meet are on Friday. A distance carnival will be held under the lights on Friday night. The invitational sections will be held on Saturday, with a special ceremony honoring the meet's namesakes - Rafer Johnson and Jackie Joyner Kersee.
