UCLA Sweeps Penn State
Bruins improve to 2-0.

HONOLULU - The UCLA men's volleyball team defeated Penn State Thursday in the second round of the Outrigger Hotels Tournament. The Bruins made short work of the Nittany Lions, cruising to a 15-3, 15-5, 15-8 victory. The win improves them to 2-0, and advances them to Friday's championship game against tournament host Hawaii.
Adam Naeve led the Bruins with 12 kills and Ben Moselle had 10 kills. Evan Thatcher had seven kills to go with his match high 12 digs and Brandon Taliaferro set it up with 38 assists. UCLA hit an outstanding .417 compared to Penn State's .165. The Nittany Lions drop to 0-2 on the year.
