LOS ANGELES - The top-ranked UCLA men's volleyball team swept UC Irvine Thursday night to extend its unbeaten record to 14-0 overall and 10-0 in league play.
The Bruins were never threatened by the Anteaters (8-4, 5-4), who were held to a .117 attack percentage. The Bruins hit .372 for the match, led by freshman Mark Williams' and Adam Naeve's 15 kills each. Naeve led the Bruin blocking attack with four followed by senior Tom Stillwell's three.
On Saturday, the Bruins will host 10th ranked Lewis University (10-4), a team that extended the Bruins to five games last season in Pauley Pavilion before losing 24-22 in the fifth. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. PST in Pauley Pavilion.
