Second-ranked UCLA dropped a three-game decision to No.3 Hawaii Saturday night in Honolulu, HI.

Hawaii (19-6, 16-4) won 30-19, 30-20, 30-20 in 88 minutes before 7,358 fans at the Stan Sheriff Center.

The loss was the Bruins' (23-6, 15-5) third straight and dropped them into third place of the MPSF standings.

Senior Matt Komer led the Bruins with 13 kills (.400) and added four digs and one block. Junior Cameron Mount and freshman David Russell each added eight kills.

All-American Costas Theocharidis led the Warriors with 14 kills (.400) and Tony Ching and Delano Thomas each added 11.

Hawaii limited UCLA's attack to .159, while hitting .477. The Warriors out-blocked the Bruins, 8-4, and had seven more digs. Each team served just one ace.

UCLA will host Cal State Northridge Wed., Apr. 10 at 7 p.m. in Pauley Pavilion.
