Final Stats

The seventh-ranked UCLA men's volleyball team fell in four games to BYU in the quarterfinals of the MPSF Tournament Saturday.

The Cougars won 30-28, 30-26, 26-30, 30-26 in two hours and 17 minutes in front of 1,382 fans at Smith Fieldhouse. The loss ended the Bruins season at 16-14 overall. BYU improved to 22-8.

Senior Garrett Muagututia, in his final match, led UCLA with 16 kills, followed by 13 from sophomore Nick Vogel, who had zero errors in 25 attempts. Sophomore Jack Polales add14 kills an ace and three block assists.

BYU's Robb Stowell led his team with 18 kills.
