HONOLULU - The UCLA men's volleyball team advanced to its sixth straight NCAA Championship Title match after a hard fought five game victory (13-15, 15-9, 15-6, 13-15, 15-11) over Lewis at the Stan Sheriff Center Thursday night.
UCLA reserve Danny Farmer put on a clinic, coming off the bench with 26 kills and a match-high .629 hitting percentage. Sophomore Adam Naeve led UCLA with 34 kills while Evan Thatcher added 21. Brandon Taliaferro had 110 assists for the Bruins.
The Flyers were led by Victor Rivera, who had a match-high 43 kills.
UCLA will play for the NCAA Championship against Pepperdine Saturday at 9:30 Pacific time. The game will be broadcast by ESPN2 and can be heard on KIEV 870 am.
