The UCLA men's volleyball team lost the final match of the 3rd Annual SAC Tournament Saturday to Cal State Northridge, which won the event for the second straight year.

The Matadors won 28-30, 30-25, 30-21, 30-27. In the other match UCSB defeated Long Beach State, 30-27, 30-20, 44-42.

Against the Matadors, Garrett Muagututia led the Bruins with 17 kills, followed by 15 from Brett Perrine.

In the morning matches, UCLA defeated UC Santa Barbara 33-31, 30-23, 30-28 and CS Northridge beat Long Beach State 29-31, 30-21, 30-19, 30-24.

For the Bruins, Brett Perrine recorded 14 kills, followed by nine from Jack Polales.
