The UCLA men's volleyball team begins its 2006 season with an exhbition match against visiting Winnipeg tonight at 7 p.m. in Pauley Pavilion. Admission and parking are free.

Head Coach Al Scates begins his 44th season and welcomes the return of two starters and nine lettermen from a team that advanced to the NCAA championship match in 2005.

Senior Setter Dennis Gonzales and All-American libero Tony Ker are the mainstays from last year's team that recorded a 26-6 overall record. Other expected starters include senior Damien Scott (opposite), junior Paul George and freshman Sean O'Malley (outside hitters) and senior Nick Scheftic and redshirt freshman Jamie Diefenbach (quick hitters).
