LOS ANGELES - The UCLA water polo program will host a reunion in Westwood on Saturday, April 5. The reunion's weekend events include an alumni water polo game Saturday afternoon and a men's basketball Final Four viewing party that evening at Westwood Brewing Company.

The water polo program (men's and women's) encourages its former players and their families to return to campus for an exciting weekend. Events will unfold on Friday and Saturday, with the main attractions set for Saturday afternoon and evening.

Those interested in attending the reunion should contact assistant water polo coach Sam Bailey (sbailey@athletics.ucla.edu).

The reunion's events begin at noon Saturday, with a champagne brunch at Sunset Canyon Recreation Center prior to that afternoon's women's water polo game against California (1 p.m.) Immediately following the women's water polo match, the water polo program will host alumni water polo games - both men's and women's.

After the day's activities at the pool, the reunion moves to the upstairs portion of the Westwood Brewing Company, which has been reserved for UCLA water polo alumni and their families for a men's basketball Final Four viewing party.

The Friday night schedule kicks off at Jackie Robinson Stadium, where the UCLA baseball team hosts its series opener against USC (6 p.m.). After the game, meet for a multi-sport gathering in Santa Monica with alumni from the men's and women's volleyball programs, as well as the swimming, softball, baseball, gymnastics and men's and women's soccer programs.

For those needing accommodations, rooms have been blocked at the UCLA Guest House (310-825-2923, $118/night), Hilgard House (310-208-3945, $150/night), Claremont Hotel on Tiverton Avenue (310-208-5957, $79/night), Royal Palace on Tiverton Avenue (310-208-6677, $125/night), Angelino Hotel at Sunset and I-405 (310-476-6411, $169 night) and the Holiday Inn Express (310-478-1400, $139/night). Make sure to mention UCLA water polo when making reservations.
