Los Angeles, CA - Freshman forward Atonye Nyingifa (Torrance, CA/Redondo Union HS) was selected to the Pac-10 All-Tournament team after averaging 11 points and 10 rebounds in the Bruins' two tournament games.

Nyingifa had a huge game in the Bruins' second-round win over Oregon State, scoring a career-high 18 points and tying her career-high with 10 rebounds. She shot 60% from the field and was a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line. Amongst her 10 rebounds were six offensive boards. She also added three assists and a block in 30 minutes of play. In the semifinals against eventual Pac-10 tournament champion Stanford, Nyingifa tied for game-high honors in rebounding with 10. She also had four points and two steals.
