Hi everybody! Hi Dr. Nick! That's a quote from the best TV show in the world ? The Simpsons. I am in love with that show, and anyone who knows me can definitely assure you. When people ask what I've been doing this summer my response is, "Going to summer school, rehabbing, and watching all three episodes of The Simpsons every day." Yes, that pretty much wraps it up! I have also become attached to the reality series Paradise Hotel (parental supervision is advised!)

This summer has been a real life lesson. I have been staying in an apartment with two of my teammates. So you know what that means, no parental supervision, and parties all night long. Yeah right! Not with the 7 am workouts and lights out at 11:30 pm (right after the last showing of The Simpsons.) What I don't understand about my apartment is that no matter how much I clean, it gets messy again in 10 minutes.

We're in the second session of summer school now. I took English 4W the first session, which completed all my English requirements. I be such the goodest English student now, j/k. Actually, after the summer, I will be just about done with all of my G.E. requirements. The only problem now is choosing my major. Uhh!! Any ideas? I'm so stumped.

After working the basketball camps I have considered coaching, but I would never have a voice. I was hoarse after the first day. I enjoyed the camps, especially the overnight. We ate all of our meals in the Rieber Dining Halls, where the food is already prepared. I was in heaven. If you know me, you'll learn there is something I love more than The Simpsons, and that's eating! I know, I know, you would never guess by my size, but trust me, I can chow down with the greatest.

In response to Sissy's statement about me only being able to cook tacos, it's not that I can't cook; I'm just too lazy to, thank you. But now that Sissy has moved out, I am forced to cook because it's my only option, unless I eat Emma's Vienna sausage and corn. I pass!

For everyone concerned about my knee, yes, I am still rehabbing for it. I have been lifting weights and putting my weight back on. I am not on the courts yet, but I have been running on the track and started some pool exercises to work on my cardio. I hope to be back on the court by the start of the season, but I won't be 100% until the conference. I appreciate your concern.

Well, that about wraps up my summer. I'm sad to say my older brother Ryan will be leaving Friday for school all the way in Kansas. No!!!! I'm going to miss him so much (he's my Simpsons partner), but I'm proud to be an aunt to my older sister's baby girl, Sydney Nicole. She also lives in Kansas. Well, thanks for reading. I don't want to say goodbye, so in the words of Nelson the bully, "Smell ya' later!"
