Hi everyone! My summer has been great! I lived in a one-bedroom apartment with two of my teammates. It gets a little crowded at times, but we save money and it has been fun. Living off campus really makes you appreciate dorm food, which is already made as opposed to cereal and sandwiches, which I have for almost every meal (because I can't cook).

I've been at school all summer taking summer school classes and working out, as well as going to the beach every chance I get. I love the beach! Workouts have been good; our weightlifting is really heavy over the summer, so at times I've been a little sore. But that's a good thing, I guess. I'm going to be ready for that shuttle, baby!!!

I can say that I am so excited for next season! The future looks really bright for Bruin Basketball, and our team is ready for any challenge that lies ahead. We work hard, and lord willing, our hard work will hopefully pay off right when our season starts off. We're definitely coming in trying to do big things this season. So get your season tickets now! Here we come!

As a true UCLA fan, I feel like a brand new era for the Bruins is approaching. We're moving up the ladder and stepping it up to another level. This year should be exciting for all UCLA athletes and all true Bruin fans. I just pray that God keeps me healthy and keeps sending his blessings our way. I know he has big plans for our team, so I'm not worried about it.

So I guess this means I need to start preparing myself to start school again for another year: class every day, practice every day, tutors, midterms, finals, studying and loss of sleep. But I'm ready for it and excited to start up again. Hopefully I will see everyone soon at some games. Go Bruins and God Bless!
