Hey - what's up everybody? From this point on you are about to receive full access to my personal life, and yes, I swear to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth (lol just kidding it's not all that personal) ...
Well, summer is almost exactly half gone (we don't start school until the last week of September), and I am definitely living life right now. This has been the first week that I haven't really had anything to do but work out with the team. At the beginning of summer I had the chance to fly out to Oklahoma to work a basketball camp at the University of Tulsa ... and yes, I flew all the way out there just to work a camp. What can I say, I really like working camps. After the Tulsa camp I flew back out here just in time to work our Elite camp, and, as a matter of fact, I just finished our day camp last week. So right now I'm kind of drained; working camp takes a lot of energy. All I have to do this week is work out with my teammates at 6:30AM every day except for Wednesday. It might sound bad but it's really not. We have to make the best of it and just think about how much better its making us in the long run. The best part about having it in the morning is the fact that once 8:30 hits we are done for the day, and we can go home and sleep if we don't have any summer school classes.
Speaking of classes I think that I am the only one not in summer school right now. So I'm pretty sure that some of the girls are jealous of the fact that I go home and sleep :). I hope you guys aren't getting the wrong impression; working out and sleeping aren't the only things that I do. I actually love to shop, so I do that at least once or twice a week. I also babysit my niece and my nephew, and next week I am going to the lake and going jet skiing. I can't wait for that!!!
Well now that I have taken time out of my precious summer to fill you in on the summer life of a BRUIN, hopefully you can repay me by coming to some of our games this season. I promise you there will be some great games this year. So now I'm going to get back to my fun-filled summer. I hope you are enjoying your summer as much as I'm enjoying mine.
