LOS ANGELES - The 21st ranked UCLA women's golf team finished eighth at the Regional Challenge, Feb. 9-11, played at the Palos Verdes Country Club. The Bruins posted a 54-hole total of 912, and were paced individually by senior Amandine Vincent, who finished in a tie for 14th at 223.
Ffith-ranked Tulsa won the tournament with a three-round total of 875 and boasted the top two individuals - Fillippa Helersson (212) and Niina Laitinen (215).
Other individual scores for the Bruins included freshman Leilani Bagby, who tied for 17th at 224, sophomore Alexandra Gasser, who finished tied for 35th at 230, freshman Alicia Um, who finished at 238 and senior Betty Chen, who had a three-round total of 239.
