Rowed in the varsity eight boats throughout the spring season as a freshman...rowed bow seat in the 2V8+ in early season dual-meet wins against Loyola Marymount (March 8) and San Diego State (March 15)...rowed bow seat in the 2V8+ at the Pac-10 Challenge (March 29-30), the San Diego Crew Classic (April 5-6) and the Stanford Invitational (April 19-20)...helped lead UCLA's 2V8+ to first-place finishes against St. Mary's, Stanford and Central Florida on both days at the Stanford Invitational...rowed two seat in the V8+ crew against USC (May 3) and at the Pac-10 Championships (May 18).

One-year varsity swimming letterwinner at West Windsor Plainsboro HS South under head coach Paul Hamnett...competed for three seasons in the swimming program in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle.
