Split time rowing in the two varsity eights as a sophomore...rowed two seat in the V8+ crew in early season dual-meet victories against Loyola Marymount (March 8) and San Diego State (March 15)...rowed four seat in the V8+ at the Pac-10 Challenge (March 29-30)...rowed five seat in the 2V8+ at the San Diego Crew Classic (April 5-6) and Stanford Invitational (April 19-20)...helped lead the Bruins' 2V8+ crew to first-place finishes against St. Mary's, Stanford and Central Florida at the Stanford Invitational...rowed three seat in the 2V8+ against USC (May 3) and at the Pac-10 Championships (May 18).
Rowed five seat in the second varsity eight in all events except for the regatta versus San Diego State; rowed two seat in the varsity eight against San Diego State (March 17), leading the Bruins to a first-place finish...in 2V8+ races, led UCLA past Loyola Marymount in the season opener (March 10)...finished third in the grand final of the 2V8 at the San Diego Crew Classic after finishing first in the previous day's heat (March 31-April 1)...finished ahead of Notre Dame on day two at the Windermere Stanford (April 15) and in the regatta versus USC (April 28)...raced to a fourth-place finish at the Pac-10 Championships (May 13).
