Pac-12 Networks to Air Nine UCLA Women's Soccer Matches

LOS ANGELES - Nine UCLA regular-season women's soccer matches will be televised by the Pac-12 Networks in 2012, as the network announced its plans to air a total of 58 live televised women's soccer games for the upcoming season on Monday. The Bruins' first live match will be on Sept. 7 against local rival Loyola Marymount at 7:00 p.m. (PST).

"We are excited about the opportunity to deliver the kind of exposure to women's soccer that it richly deserves," said Gary Stevenson, President of Pac-12 Enterprises. "Year after year, the Pac-12 produces some of the very best teams and most prolific women's soccer players in the country, including last year's national champion Stanford. Through the Pac-12 Networks broadcast schedule this Fall, fans will have a chance to see championship caliber soccer as well as the next wave of international stars every week."

Below is a complete listing of all UCLA women's soccer matches that will be televised live by the Pac-12 Networks in 2012.

Sept. 16 - Pepperdine (7:00 p.m.)
Sept. 20 - Washington State (7:00 p.m.)
Oct. 1 - at Arizona State (7:00 p.m.)
Oct. 7 - at Oregon State (Noon)
Oct. 26 - California (3:00 p.m.)
Oct. 28 - Stanford (6:00 p.m.)
Nov. 2 - at USC (2:00 p.m.)

In its inaugural season, the Pac-12 Networks brings an unprecedented level of exposure to its acclaimed member institutions that have combined to collect a record 450 NCAA titles. The 58 televised Pac-12 women's soccer matchups are just a portion of 217 exciting events including football, volleyball, men's and women's soccer, men's water polo, field hockey and cross country telecast over 100 days this fall, putting the Conference of Champions on a national stage.

The Pac-12 Networks launch August 15 and will consist of one national and six regional networks devoted solely to the Pac-12. In addition to the hundreds of live televised Pac-12 sporting events, Pac-12 Networks subscribers will have access to their carrier's TV Everywhere platform, providing access to all Pac-12 Networks programming on any device through their broadband service.
