Redshirt junior goalkeeper Alana Munger (Honolulu, HI/Punahou School) of the UCLA women's soccer team was selected as the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for Aug. 13-19.

Munger picked up her first career win in goal, helping the sixth-ranked Bruins to a 2-1 victory over UMass in the team's season opener on Sunday in Amherst, Mass. Munger, who played the entire 90 minutes in goal, made four saves on the afternoon. With the win, UCLA improved to 13-6-1 all-time in season openers.

This is Munger's first UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and of her career.
